Could someone please help identify this wood type?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to this forum. I visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum today and absolutely fell in love with the wood flooring in this place. It looks like IPE to me, but I'm not sure.

    Could someone please help me identify the wood type for me?
