Had a load in for a couple of quick turn around jobs, been wanting to try it out since id heard about it.
30mins walk on time, 45 min fitting time, cant go wront there eh
Had a calcium sulphate floor to do, 17m of tarketts luxury woods
    121 neat
    Then the fast trak
Good flow properties, spread and mixed v well
Knew it went off quick so didnt hang about mixing the bags and getting it on the floor
well took well over 2 hours to dry, so had to go back to the house this morning.
Flat and hard as a babys bottom, good stuff
gave it a quick rub down for any imperfections (not many as used the spiky roller as well as the comb as per usual)
well bugger me, if the floor didnt look like the moon, craters everywhere, little pot marks in the screed.
Had a better look and the screed was dimpled everywhere, for some reason the 30 just wasnt 'a mirror' finish.
only way i could see past it was to skim the whole floor to get rid of said potholes :x
Maybe its me, but i wont be using it again, and i'll be getting in touch with my supplier and exchanging it for 300hd or ive been thinking of trying out the mapei gear.
Has anyone else had any probs with this stuff?

I used renovation for Amtico last week, so had 2 buckets and spike roller on the go and it was spot on. Think I rubbed off 3 little bits and it was good to go. Had a bit of a funny finish tho, think I would prime it before sticking to it next time.

Used renovation a a lot recently and the amtico glue seems to go off really quickly on it and even after 30 mins you could peeel the adhesive of the floor, caused a few probs

But still think its a great screed

you should prime all new smoothing compounds before you lay on them. That goes for Fball, Mapei, ardex etc.
