Polythene everywhere and offcuts that are no use for nothing. Too much "keep that it'll come in handy sometime"
I keep ANYTHING thats a half decent size I wanna make money! lol Sods law says you'll need it after chucking it
I just go on the weigh bridge, then unload via my backdoors then go back on the bridge and they tell me the damage.
That explains when i take the car i see carpet vans offloading with no question, i go in the van all i get is,"thats trade waste mate, can't dump that here"
The dump is unmanned, just have to park at the height restriction an walk in with it, if caught my argument is the waste belongs to the customer am merely doing them a favor
They used to do that at my local dump, this one was manned. No one ever said a word so as far as i see it also, its perfectly alright.
Speaking to a guy at the tip last week, there could be a change coming. At the moment its roughly 160 per tonne but if they change it to trade waste but for recycling it will be roughly 65 per tonne. He said it will come in but doesnt know when.
