Use to be good. Last few batches I've found the fibres ball up together which is annoying as it flows out lovely and grabs like glue. Very similar to 700

Hopefully it was just a bad batch as I've still got some left to use on the next job! I still like it really lol

Spot on for me, creamy smooth, kind of elastic like when troweling :)

I just bought 8 bags of this today , was a burst bag in the suppliers and it looks just like fball 700,
Any idea what the priming ratio is for the second coat ? Thanks

It's going over plywood and underfloor heating cables but il probably need to do 2 coats to get the right depth above the underfloor heating cables , so guess I'm wondering what the ratios would be for both coats , level it flex sais 10mm max per coat ( same as 700) I'm sure tilemaster levelflex gives a lot more depth but I hate that stuff - it's lumpy and takes far to long to dry
Thanks for the quick reply as always spacey

I would use neat primer for both if it's small areas

Well guys I used the level it flex today , lovely smooth solid surface finish ,smoother than 700 in my opinion - perfect for a small area but it drys way too fast for trying to get a nice perfect finish on a large area , when it came to stitching the screed together after 5 mins it was already dry , if this stuff was slower drying it would be amazing .
Guess il need to keep pricing jobs for 700
    :-(

Lovely stuff but does go off super quick. No wonder they re branded it as a rapid set! No time for mixing, have to have a constant supply

How do you go about priming over the under floor heating when using 700? Do you just roll over the electrical heating as if it's not there? I guess you have no choice..

The subfloor should be primed before UFH matts go down Then a latex smoothing compound used

Would the heating matts not need to be tested before screeding over?

Ideally yes but they should be in working order straight out the box
