Installing a lvt today in an old house today open fire but no floor vents I’m a right in thinking it should have them as oxygen would be burned up by fire leaving carbon dioxide in room if they were there they have been boarded over any advise welcome thanks
We have a solid fuel fire and regulations state if the fires output is under 5kw no vent is required. Over 5kw and a permanent vent is needed. Not sure if this helps you at all
