Trying to figure out my options to get a flush fir with my stair nosing. I will have 85mm gap to my last full plank and would like to achieve a stair nosing that is flush with the T&G flooring. So far my research has not find a satisfactory results, most option Ive found require a lip.

Are there any options to get a flush fit or do I have to leave expansion gap and include a lip

Personally, if i couldn't get a suitable one from the flooring manufacturer, i would get a solid oak nosing and stain it, it would come with a groove, so just put a loose tongue into the two grooves, cut the nosing off the top step to make it square, a two minute job with a jigsaw and chisel. What manufacturer flooring is it?

Flooring is white sand from Wood&Beyond. No idea who's the manufacturer, only know that its made in German.

Great idea on cutting the old nosing, I probably would not have thought of it.
