Hi I’m dan from Cambridgeshire Been doing flooring since I was 18 so 7 years now working for a local shop. managed to do a couple months down in New Zealand which was cool! I mainly fit carpet, vinyl, lot and laminate.
Thanks! New Zealand was good really enjoyed it I was mainly doing carpet and lvt in new builds. The lvt was mainly karndean van goth always in bathrooms (toilets always removed) and kitchens Most of the time everything was ready to go no other trades getting in the way. It was very much the same as the uk although most of there houses are just a ground floor and they don’t use door bars between carpets they are joined. Also all there carpets are 12foot wide so the heat seam iron was out a lot!
I’ve heard they always seam all the doorways. Any idea why? Just the trend over there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
