    Good afternoon

Have laid 5.5mm ply in preparation for quick step balance. All butted up together, staggering sheets and screwed at 4" perimeter & 6" grid so all good there. All pretty flat with no gaps etc so all good I thought and would lay quickstep basic underlay then floor

However because of Christmas the floor was put off till new year but a few gaps have appeared where sheets meet, only literally 1mm wide.

What's best to fill or can I get away with just using the basic underlay?

If I'd laid the vinyl soon after I'd have never known about the gaps appearing so what's the thoughts?

    Cheers muchly

    Superb, cheers all.

Do have a few bits of damage, only about half dozen bits over 20+ m about size thumb nail but maybe few mm deep. Any filler (pre mixed?) recommended that doesn't require buying 25kg of something?

    Cheers again

No need, just throw the underlay down and get fitting [thumbs up]
If you that concerned about it then squeeze some silicone in there but you are worrying about nothing

Thanks again, will get it sorted.

Last query.. Any recomendations for transition strips between click floors. Would be going from 5.5mm quickstep to 4.5mm tarkett lvt.
Aluminium or nickel type colour ideally.

Stairrods UK have what you need, I haven’t got the samples in front of me to check which one but if you go on their website they’re all on there.
