    Hi looking for some advice.

Ive had Distinctive Church Oak lvf fitted to my bunglow it was glued down. Im not happy with the fitting as there is gaps between planks and around the edge. The installer has told me that this is with in spec and needed as i have underfloor heating. But im not convinced as some of these gaps are a couple of mm big enough to see the self leveler.

You do have to give the guy credit ,for having the balls to use that excuse for bad fitting

It will be fine ,he's left an expansion gap lol ,but i see what you mean, if he wasn't capable of doing the visible part right ,what else has he done wrong

Poor workmenship to say the least, wonder if he done all the check points first ie moisture readings and checking what subfloor it is.

Unfortunately i have paid.. but i did pay on a credit card so some protection there if i don't get what ive paid for.

Having been back to the shop again i have a different fitter coming to have a look this week.
I made it very clear that this is the last chance and after this its legal action as its been going on t9 long now floor was fitted 1st week if December.

I also have the flooring manufacture rep coming the week after to have a look as they seem intressted in how there product has been fitted.

    Fingers crossed
