Gluing parquet straight to ardex liquid dpm

    Hi there is it possible to glue engineered parquet direct to ardex epoxy Dpm and what glue to use?

    Yeah speak to wakol, they can advise. Ms260 would work. Sika T54 or T55 will bond to it too.

    No direct from the spec sheet

    When wood flooring is to be adhered, first prime the cured ARDEX DPM 1 C with ARDEX R 3 E Epoxy Primer, blind the surface with ARDEX Fine Aggregate and allow to cure. Vacuum off the excess fine aggregate to leave a ‘sandpaper’ finish. Apply the relevant latex or water based smoothing compound in accordance with the relevant data sheets.

    So no to direct bond.

    Ardex also don’t have a wood adhesive so you might struggle with that

    Shame you didn’t use fball or Mapie epoxy dpm. You can bond direct to both. Wonder why Ardex don’t advise it?

    Ardex or bal own wakol so go with that if using Ardex products elsewhere
