Maybe it should be a good idea to "air" quality products ie gripper and underlay and blades doorplates etc to let everyone know what is out there for experienced and inexperienced floorlayers and it would be good to see what the difference is in prices for these goods.Just trying to be helpful martin.

In contrast to this post i have been using what my wholesaler calls "PREMIUM" seam tape. The one with the red/black line and milky colored glue (our friends across the water will appreciate my coloured spelling lol).I opted to try GRIPPERRODS tape for a change of which is a lot cheaper to buy.It has a thicker band of glue down the centre seam point and very impressed as with the former tape i had to go a lot slower to agitate the glue.So its cheaper is better for me im afraid and im sticking with it ooooh!.
