Do the machines do both? Or are they separate machines?
Wouldn't be using them all the time so anybody recommend half decent/ reasonable price ones?

I’ve got Wolff samba which, with the right attachments will do both. A grinding machine will just grind, but will do it quicker and easier than a buffer/sander

 does the disc last a long time? What about the buffing discs? Best place to purchase?

Disc will last forever but you will need to buy grinding segments for it to ;)

Disc for sanding drive board is another 200

You're looking about 400 for a diamond grinding attachment including the diamond blocks, but worth spending another 200 for pcd blocks aswell, they don't leave a smooth finish but will remove pretty much anything

Is it for a particular job, or ongoing work ?
A proper set up will need a vac as well, and it can become expensive.
There are hire options, if its a 1 off

Thanks lads. It's a one off as such. I used to pass the screeds on to a lad i know but im doing it more and more myself now. I still get him in to get rid of glue residue with grinder or give it a once over after the screed though.
Do you know how much the hire would be?
Ive got 2 jobs coming up so could pay for itself.
    Dont know what to do
