M25 is the only reason I didn't like working around London. I always tried to hit it daft O'clock in the morning or late at night any other time its a joke nearly as bad a the A1 to Scotland 2lanes through Farmers Vile ?

Just remember, flooring show virgins, although its a flooring show it isn't a floorlayers show as such !
The place will be filled with guys in suits & ties talking a load of b****ks to each other but can be very interesting all the same if your a Propa floor geek :arse

I think you just need to print off the large bar code when you registered, that came in a email straight away.

Just got back from great weekend at Harrogate with mike cool and matt creative.
Met up with a load of the twitter lads and a few more from the forum.
Had a golf day today too, me mike and matt.

Harrogate seamed a lot less busy. Not as many stands as last year. Easy got round in a a day with watching some demo at the nicf stand too. Alot of LVT stands but how many do you want?
Had a great laugh with the f.ball lads and the Budweiser was flowing nicely.
They have 2 new dpm's out which look good. Got to see a demo of them at the nicf stand.
F77 which is very much like Ardex dpm1c, a one coat epoxy which you put on at a certain thickness. Up to 98%RH

F78 which is their primer type dpm ( like laybond rapid ) , 2 coats dry in a hour up to 95%RH but only on new concrete sub floors.

Also they have a new twitter account called "Fball tech " which is going to be used for tweeting tech questions to and getting a reply quickly rather then ringing up. Sounds good to me.

Matt got a good bargain on a exakt saw which was good. But not many tools on sale which was disappointing as I was after a laser level and bosch weren't there.

Spotnails had the new gas cylinder to show us. Instead of using the compressor. It fixes onto all the nailers an staple guns. Would be handy for jobs like small bathrooms or when no electric. But will cost a bit on bigger floors to use over the compresser.

Be interesting to see if the stand prices drop so more company's start going again.
Will be going next year anyway as part of it is meeting up with the lads.

fball are really amping up their game of late, very keen to see the new 77/78 when they out.
top bunch of lads at the stand.
    brilliant views they had too!!

Well worth the 400mile+ drive. Nice to meet a few lads and put faces to names.

Meeting the guys from fball was good. They were thankful for us floor layers who use their products and genuinely happy to hear our feedback.

The worst thing was get beat at golf today by Daz. We'll have to get a demo day sorted and maybe a forum golf/booze up.
