    What do people use?
I’ve always stuck with standard tape and never had a problem on domestics but always wonder if there is something better out there...

I use gripper rods tape from the suppliers.
Have wondered myself what the difference is..

That’s the thing. There lots of tapes but when you look they all basically say “seam carpet”...

The tape that comes with the koolglide is much better quality and it doesn’t smoke at all.

I use the koolglide, i didnt know you could use the same tape with a hot iron though.

I think we used to use gripperods gold for the iron , the cheaper tapes seem to crumble after a short while and don't grab very well either.
