Read about this forum in the last CFJ in Sid's article and thought I have a look here, plus we've come to know Matt too over the years on other forums - boy does time fly! We - retailers in rural Kent - supply/install quality wooden floors and specialise in Design Parquet floors. We might have different ideas on installation methods sometimes due to the fact we originate from The Netherlands where things are done slightly different than here (and house etc are in many cases different, like decent concrete floors and hardly any floorboards as underfloor). So if we sound stubborn, blame it on our home training ;-) :roll: Being Dutch also means I tend to write double Dutch English at times, do forgive me :lol: We're a two man (well, one man/one woman) band, my partner Ton does the installation work and logistics, poor old me works in our showroom 5 - 6 days a week doing all other things, from admin, marketing and of course talking to prospects/clients - be it in the shop, over the phone, by email or online.
