You generally want to book in sometime in September to have the best chance of getting something done before Christmas, you might find the odd fitter with a slot or two free now but they will charge you a lot more for their time and will pick and choose what they want to do, if stairs are involved or the profit isn’t high enough there’s very little chance before mid January, it’s been like this as long as I can remember. I'm up to mid Feb booked now, bit gutted though because some of the calls I'm getting but needs doing before mid Feb are some good earners. Me and my 2 subbys are stacked and there isn't anymore decent fitters (that I trust) about that are available either to allow me to take on more work.
