Hi there - have just had some Woodpecker parquet floor installed. In general it looks great. However the cutting of the planks that adjoin the wall seems a bit haphazard and messy. I know that it is necessary to leave a gap but here the gap is so large in places that I am concerned it will show underneath the skirting board. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback. Do you think there's any way to salvage it other than a really thick skirting board? It's glued down but there is plenty of left over flooring. Is there any way for a pro to pull up the badly cut pieces and replace with better pieces?
