    Hi,

We just had Karndean Looselay professionally installed. We live out in Australia and it appears the Looselay is the common Karndean product, although it is installed with an adhesive due to our climate.

I’ve noticed some planks are more tightly abutted than others. At the skirting boards there are occasional small gaps. I know that the vinyl has to be manually cut at edges so I’m wondering how much I should forgive the installers for this Is this level of variation normal/expected?

Looselay is terrible. It looks like it needs more glue (go figure) and he hasn’t cut it very tight. To be fair if he did cut it tight it would probably blow back or bubble

    Thanks for your reply
How can you tell that it needs more glue?
What is it that makes Looselay + glue so much worse than the glue down product ?

I’d only use A high temp glue with it but as it’s thicker it tends to want to shrink a bit
