I've got the Roberts jamb saw, which i only use for lvt as it cuts flush to the floor, i find it a bit of a pain to adjust, so just leave it set flush and use a bepo and cordless fein for wood and laminate

I used to have the Roberts many moons ago but just use a Dewalt multi tool now. Might look into the Crain long neck as I’m a big fan of Crain tools

No the Crain Deluxe 605, I’ve not really paid too much attention to the 525 but I really like the look of it. It reminds me a bit of the Orcon Magnum I used to have, had flames down the side, personally for me that was one of the best stretchers I’ve had. I think there were some issues though which is probably why they stopped producing it. From what I remember it had a hydraulic system and it failed on me and leaked oil, fortunately not on someone’s carpet

Looked at them a while ago, and ended up with Fein Supercut. Not used it yet, as the job keeps getting moved back.

I’ve got the 605 but changed the pad for the thinner one. Couldn’t get use to the bigger bumper

Janser flex saw is by far the best all rounder in my opinion. If you drop it to the floor as low as possible it's about right for accommodating latex and lvt pretty nicely. The height is easy to step up, depth is easy to set up and it costs less than the piranha. It's far more stable than the jamb saws I think
