Jammed coil nailer

    Can any one tell me what I have to undo to get the piston back on the coil nailer as you can see i have a nail well jammed in, cant get it out

    You need an awl and a hammer

    Dont think that will work already tried with a small nail punch

    You need a bigger hammer.
    I keep a broken driver in the box, which is perfect for smashing out a fouled pin.

    Okay so is there no way.of undoing the gun to release the piston rod.which is jammed down ?

    Don`t think so. Ive had them apart loads of times.
    It just needs smashing out, as its jammed in there

    Get the nail out and fire the gun and the firing pin will go back in

    As said by others, turn it upside down and hit it firmly until it comes out, you may damage it in the process or if you're lucky you wont

    I have been trying to knock it out the way it went in , would it be better going the other way cos this mother ain't moving

    i was joking , not looked at it since :)
    but yes still stuck down , I will get a bigger hammer :D
