- - MATTHEW GUEST FLOORING - - - - Experienced & Intermediate Floor Fitters Required - - Due to expansion and expanding contracts we are looking for experienced and intermediate floor fitters. We are based in Birmingham with clients/contracts in the Midlands, Manchester and London. Our Work Includes: Commercial – Offices, Pubs, Restaurants, Retail and Healthcare Domestic – New Homes and Private residences Positions Available: We are looking for experience in one or multi skills of the following: Carpets (Traditional and Stick down) and Carpet Tiles Vinyl’s, LVT and Safety Flooring Laminate and Wood Flooring Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Carpet / Floor fitter is essential Ability to communicate well with both the customer and the office Complete jobs to the customer’s full satisfaction All applicants must be able to do a job from start to finish, from sub floor preparation, to fitting, to cleaning up once finished. Our customer base expects above average workmanship from us so please only apply if you have attention to detail and pride in your work. Personal Skills We are looking for reliable, keen, honest fitters with good personal skills and a friendly nature. Terms Of Position Full time permanent position (Part time applicants considered – Minimum 3 days a week) Sub Contractor basis Can be part of a team – IE Fitter and Apprentice Work will be on your own or on larger projects as part of the existing team CSCS – preferred but not essential to application Approximate working hours 40 – 50 hours a week (flexible) with Occasional weekend work Own means of transport, IE.
