    Hi,

Just looking at having our flooring replaced mainly downstairs but with two small bathrooms upstairs also. Downstairs we are having karndean lime washed oak (SMKP99) laid in herringbone style on top of existing porcelain tiles and there is 40m2 to do in total including the small bathroom. We then have the two small bathrooms one of which is getting done in the same karndean herringbone style and the other in Amtico Form Basket weave. Both bathrooms are around 3m2 each.

The quote we've had from a local fitter is below and we haven't been able to get any more so just wanted views on whether this seems reasonable. In total he said it would take three days staggered over a 5 day period.

    Quote Covers:
    12 packs karndean (40m2)
    1 box of kp99 fillers
    Screed
    Amtico Form basket weave (3m2)
    Other materials (eg: ply)
    Fitting

    Fitting Cost: £1625
    Materials Cost: 1587

    Total Cost = £3212

Would appreciate people views on this as having not had this done before don't have a clue whether this is reasonable or not.

    Thanks

Yeah about right. I’d be about £400 more
