Any recommendations for some decent lightweight knee pads for use when fitting carpet?
All I use is Alpros which I find the best pad for me so far but on carpets when you are wobbling around kicking in they just get in the way so I end up taking them off and going bare knee
Just looking for some decent 'slim line?' For use with carpets.

Oh and forgot to mention when wearing shorts so no trouser knee pocket pad suggestion need not apply :D

Crain 197 knee pads, been using them for over a year now,i use the fentos for prepping and then switch over, knees have been a lot better since the change.

Ordered some of these earlier, I have to soak my alpro's in a bucket of comfort every couple weeks, they suck in the sweat to

Must confess I’ve never worn knee pads when fitting. I might put some on for prepping if I’m in shorts...

Or had to jack in fitting altogether and now sit in the shop staring at the same 4 walls everyday like me.

Found the DeWalt ones from b&q work for me. They flatten after a time but most do. Plus they are cheap.
