.evening all, After some help please. I am looking to lay laminate across both of these rooms in the pictures. I have 2 issues: 1) there is plywood laid in the kitchen over vinyl but not the lounge meaning the floor is higher in the kitchen. Can't remove plywood due to vinyl likely being asbestos. 2) looks like in the doorway a screed has been laid which is breaking up and making the transition between the rooms very uneven Please can you offer some advice on the best way to prep this to allow me to lay laminate in these rooms- ideally continuously without a break between the rooms but if necessary with a break? Thanks! PS go easy pls I'm new to this
What's the height difference between the kitchen and the other room? You could over board the other room with plywood 4/6/9mm to bring it up more level with the kitchen...
It's 4mm plywood in the kitchen with the vinyl under it so I think it must be about 10mm difference between the two. What would you do with the bit in the middle? Cheers, Matt
