Alright lads, doing a lot of laminate fitting at the minute and was wondering what use prefer to use cordless or cord tools? I was fancying getting a cordless multi tool and jigsaw. What are your thoughts and if you use cordless do you have any in mind that are worth there money. Thanks in advance

I got a cordless dewalt jigsaw couple yr ago when I was doing a lot of laminate but in general it's better for the steel threshold strips to. Worth getting one of you are thinking about it.

Next one will be the cordless multi tool to.

We’ve got cordless Dewault jigsaw and multi tool. Got 4 batteries so never run out of power. Wouldn’t go back now

Cheers for the replies, think I’ll have a look on internet, iv got a makita let drill set with 2 batteries so be ideal if I get the makita ones but if I can see a better deal on a different brand then I’ll go for that.

Makita do a really nice 85mm circular saw,set the thickness and away you go. Can put your first /3 rows in wall to wall then scribe without taking it all apart then cut.

Roberts jamb saw is one of the best tools ive bought for laminate. Alot quicker for cutting doorframes and architraves and you can get a nice flush finish with the laminate.
