Laser measure

Who has one?
Have thought about getting one but measured a few big jobs lately were it would of helped.
Seen this at machine mart. Cheap so will it be rubbish.

I've got that one Daz, you can get them for 9.99 brand new on ebay. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't, crap imo, get a disto for 100ish off ebay

 

Yep, get a good one, you don't want one you can't trust and end up using your tape measure anyway.
ive got a hilti, it can measure forever.

I did have the Leica Disto, but that got nicked !

I have the Bosch now, think it was about £100. It can measure some big distances, and has always been accurate.

 

Stanley do a high end one as well, I expect that's pretty good.

 

Disto for me great when measuring offices or sports halls

 

I don't think this is a laser measure Daz - hence the price. I got the cheapest Leica one at last years Flooring show for £99.

It's good and useful for large areas for wood or tiles but I would'nt use it for measuring carpets.

Took me ages to convert...
Still think in imperial every now and again hehe
