used to take the mick out of my old boss with some of his measuring.. Used to say he measured like 1,2,3 2,3,4 3,4,5 needless to say his measuring was a little suspect at times

I use a disto , has bluetooth as well, although dont really use it , you can plot to the carpet estimator program. Brilliant for rooms with loads of furniture or big areas. Bought mine on ebay s/h for about a £ 100 ish
works like a dream when doing larger multiple rooms etc... on a contract, link it up to estimator software saves hours of working out.
i did use the Bluetooth when I first got it straight to my notebook with carpet estimator on there , but takes a bit if time and normally I measuring in between fits and haven't got the time

ive got the cheap leica used it on carpets too very accurate was a bit worried when i ordered the carpet thinking it would come up short but spot on.could have told me about the bosch deal last year upgraded all my drill,impact driver,sds ,planer , multi tool and jigsaw to bosch pro as dewalt was sh@t
