Has anyone else been having trouble with bostik latex's at the moment? Specifically speed 30 and flow.
I've been doing mainly new builds and when latexing the ground floors I've really been struggling to keep a wet edge. There's 2 of us latexing and not exactly hanging around when we do it either. Granted you've got to be quick with the speed 30 but even the flow is skinning over and becoming too stiff to spikey roller within 5-10 minutes of hitting the floor. I've never ever seen flow curing this quickly before!
Admittedly I am using tilemaster prime plus (diluted accordingly to the floor), I'm even doing a very minimum of 2 coats before I start, but it just doesn't seem to be making a difference. It's not like I'm latexing in the blazing sun either, in most cases I'm latexing before 8am so it's not even warm.
Anyone having similar problems or at least any good suggestions?

We had it with ultra 30. Was going off in the bucket so no amount of primer will help. Hits the floor like porridge.

That’s the problem with the cheaper brands.

So what would be everyone's "go to" latex if you had on average 50-70m² ground floors to latex and desperately needed to keep a wet edge? (Please don't say ardex NA, nobody wants to pony up the extra for that)

Appreciate the feedback, I just had a read up on that new ardex one, seems it might be just the job for larger areas of lvt so I'll give it a go! Again, appreciate the info

Ardex cl is amazing for lvt. Don’t use it on electric ufh wires tho!

Haha don't tell me you've been stung by it?
I know a couple of fits that has had CL over electrical mats but never did know the outcome.

    Always renovation for me

Put it this way. It will sort of work but it doesn’t stick very well

You to use a grit primer to get a good bond

Latexed 80m² with the Ardex CL today.....wow, that's some pretty incredible stuff for the price, makes me wonder why anyone would use that dirt from bostik

Yep. Used cl all week for some quickstep lvt. It’s the best flowing bag and bottle by far. Better than some water based products. Ardex just seem to get things right
