    Hi
This issue is consuming my life.
I have a 1960s property that has a DPC that seems to be working and a DPM that I can see is perforated around the perimeter of walls.

I’d like to install a liquid DPM but currently have an existing screeded concrete floor that sits above the DPC. Will applying liquid DPM cause issues if the screed sits above the DPC?

What can I do? I think in most cases it’s the screed that sits above the DPC and not the concrete.

    Cheers

I don’t think it matters as long as the dpm goes past the dpc as long as its above ground level and the moisture can’t travel through the wall?
Dpm usually ties into the dpc height but floor finishes alway end up above that line?
