First time I’ve used LVP and I chose what I thought was a high-end product for a new kitchen floor. 6mm thick with built in underlay and 0.7mm wear layer. Anyway, halfway through install and I start moving the fridge (large 125kg double door on wheels) and large pedestal table (20kg with wooden feet) across onto the newly laid flooring. I was thinking this stuff was bulletproof, but even so, went fairly carefully.
FFS, a large scratch appears from light dragging of the table (must have been some debris under the foot) and a couple of small indentations from moving the fridge.

OK, so I’ve learnt my lesson and have now got some rework to do.

From now on its felt pads under all furniture and specialist kit and ultra care for moving fridges washing machines etc.

But my question is, am I expecting too much from this product.

Is this typical of most LVP’s or is the endure pro not so good.

    Any advice please?

That could happen to granite, anything can mark or scratch if you drag something relatively heavy over a sharp hard object felt pads and castor cups can help, same for the indents anything heavy on a small surface area will leave some kind of indent something to help spread the load will go some way to mitigate it but sadly it’s simple physics and can’t be completely negated. The main issue you haven’t identified yet a floated floor shouldn’t be installed under heavy furniture such as your fridge it will cause expansion and contraction issues which is one reason dryback (glue down) LVT’s are usually specified instead of click.

Thanks, I am aware of the issue.
2mm gap at all perimeters (as per spec). Coverage up to plinths only.
    Machines will be on top.
Yes, I know the fridge at 125kg is questionable, but with float everywhere possible, I hope to be ok?
