Hi, can anyone give me some ideas. I'm after LVT flooring, I've been given a quote for both Karndean and Amitco Van Gough gluedown, the fitter said that the preparation work is an upheaval and that a lot of his customers go on holiday whilst it's being done, not sure I can cope, I have a dog and cat!!! Anyone know if karndean Korlock, Amitco or Distinctive flooring click any good? I need one with a good grip, so good texture, anti slip. I've not heard of distinctive flooring but liked one of their colours Almond Buff. Thank you Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Your floor still needs to be prepped correctly with LVT click (it’s a diy product) and is more expensive than a dryback, in my opinion it’s a pointless product. What prep work do they have to do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bitchumen tiles, probably the original product from when the house was built. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Go for fully bonded no question, just bite the bullet, the few days/week it will take will be worth it for the amount of time you will have your floor down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just to echo what Mwfloor said, it’s only a couple of days upheaval in my opinion it’s worth the relatively small inconvenience to get what you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
