Not being funny mate but I'm physically on site at the moment so I know what I'm on about. 4 on ground floor which are mine 4 ready on first floor then the rest isn't ready yet.

Bottom line is site are moaning because according to them we are behind, yet the ground floor is the only one ready, the first is mostly there but not complete, no heating or electric on in a couple, don't even get me started on the 2nd or 3rd, the only reason we haven't been in there sooner (why they are moaning) is we had to finish off another block after ours when the other fitter got pulled off to go to another site, which got sites backs up in a bad way.

Id guess as you posted an ad within an hour or two after speaking to the office its safe to assume you don't have fitters ready to go, so sorry but I think you missed the boat on this one cause their are 2 more fitters coming in wednesday to pick up our slack (3 plots) before we carry on with the remaining 10 plots, the rush to get it fitted will be over by end of next week as they won't have the 2nd ready by that point whilst the 3/4 floor are about 3 weeks away for floors atleast.

Always the way with new build now. I was on a site a few weeks back, when guys turned up from another firm, because we were 'behind'.
The real story was, as nothing was ready, everyone left site. Then all of a sudden there were 20 plots ready to go, and they had to be complete in a few days.
    Drives me crazy !

Site work, pain in the arse but still prefer it over mrs jones kitchen when the cat walks through the screed or mr thomsons bathroom when he stands in the doorway watching everything you do!
