    hi guys
New to the forum, been in 5he flooring trade for a while. Recently set up a flooring shop and looking at supplying a few different ranges, we already sell amtico and karndean, but would like to stock something of the cheaper end and perhaps something to replace the karndean. Ive heard J2 or tlc would be good for a budget one and perhaps distinctive to replace the karndean? What are your thoughts on the above. Thanks Aaron

Definitely not J2 unless you want to recut all the edges
I’d say you should be good with what you’ve got

Take a look at Project Floors, no internet sales, good range of decors, 3 different wear layers available. We have found their Herringbone Collection very good.

Just get every range you can get hold of, more choice for your customers.
Stay away from adore and LG in my opinion

Is J2 really that bad? You get a few bad batches even with the signature amtico range!

I have used J2 never had any issues with it, perhaps I was lucky?

Not a fitter, so can't comment on what it's like to work with (other than the fact it seems to be as straight a side as I've seen on any LVT) - but as someone on the shop floor, I can honestly say Project Floors stuff looks ace. Only found out about them because of this thread, got the rep over on a whim. Wasn't disappointed. The herringbones are wonderful - European style longer planks. Very nice.
