My 12 Yr old beast of a mitre saw decided to retire at the weekend so now I'm looking to get another. Dont want to break the bank, just a decent sliding one

    Any recommendations?

The festool ks60 is worth a look, if you fancy spending a bit more, it's as good as the ks120, just smaller, which makes it a bit more portable and it's only £600

Evolution is fine for skirting. The stand is very good.

We’ve gone through a few of the little dewault ones there around £200. Evolution has lasted longer tbf
I did have a £400 Bosch one but it was too heavy to cart around and then it got pinched out the van

The Dewalt flexvolt saw is good, and no cord.
    Perfect for site work

I'm on the lookout for the evolution now, I like how their gear lasts, still have one of their mixers that outlasted my refina that went in for repair twice while the good old evo just kept spinning away.

I did look at these seeing as I have the flexvolt mixer/batteries but sooooooo pricey for what I need it for.

Take a look on Ebay, they do come up. So much easier without the cord

Yep, I had the mixer too. It’s taken a beating. Only stopped using it as it started giving me a electric shock when I was mixing in the rain lol
