my first karndean border

    i did a border in the main bathroom and straight lay in the ensuite any comments appreciated but be gentle as it is my first border

    Looks great that mate, is that Karndean knight tile arctic driftwood. Used that colour a few times

    did u do border first or the field?tryin tofind out wats best as my first border coming up ext week

    My advice is do what you're comfiest with. Karndean basic course has you fitting border first but the advanced course is field first. Personally, I always do the field first then cut the border in. And always a good idea to take the time to mitre you're corners like Al has. Seen quite a few guys save time by doing butt joints, just doesn't have the same look in my opinion.

    I 95% of the time do mitred corners
    BUT
    Some floors look better blocked, like herringbone etc
    Just saying:D

    always prefer logging the border, find that mitring never looks perfect walls always spoil it.

    Its probably best to ask the customer as mitred are more favourable in mags and catalogues.

    Karndean recommend Border first on planks layed on 45 and field first on straight lay
