you will in next few days. Phone calls started yesterday to book people in. We have a few hundred people that the staff are working through so expect a call any day soon.
Matt, is this open to anyone, anywhere in the country ? My son has just started with me, he is 16. He takes his H&S test on Monday to allow him on site, but I would like him to start towards his nvq. If I read it as it is, the only cost to bear, would be the transport cost. Where is the training centre ? and would he have to be enrolled on a particular form of apprenticeship ? If I remember rightly there was some sort of scheme run by the citb years ago, but there were a lot of downsides to it.
All of England mate. And main training center is in Solihull (just below Birmingham). We have another two centers but i (one north and one south) but they are not built yet and i cant see them being built this side of Christmas. Yes all you need to do is get him to us. We supply his Hotel, Breakfast, lunch and travel to and from. We will be signing people up on the 10/11/12 August at training center. Your welcome to come along with him and have a look around if you like? IF another center (when complete) is closer to you then i cant see any reason why he cant be moved to the closer center. It will be same group of trainers and same course content.
If all goes to plan then it will be Essex area. Please note that this wont be ready this side of Christmas.
Can you note if you would like to start on the Birmingham one and when to south centre is open you will be able to move to there, this will give the young lad a start. sorry for sticking in my nose but may be of interest. thanks Dave.
Do i have to ? Really cant stand twitter but im willing to go with teh crowd for 5 mins every 6 months or so.
I've got mine a place on the apprenticeship too thanks to Matt. Take it easy on him though!! Lol thanks again, he's been told that its a golden opportunity and not to throw it away.
