New England carpet fraying on length.

    First time fitting New England carpet. It’s frayed down one end.

    Can this be fixed?

    What did I do wrong? Did I under cut? Company supplied med pin gripper…should it have been pinless?

    I'm not an expert on this kind of flooring (probably not on any lol),but possibly the gripper is the problem, without pins you can glue right up to the edge, with pins you'd struggle and as the carpet isn't under tension, the pins probably aren't holding it,so when they hoover it, it probably just lifts straight off,I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong
