Booked to do nvq for carpet and vinyl just wondering what types of questions i will be asked and any thing i need to know
Yes, they should not just 'tell you', but a good assessor will give you guidance / re-word the questions so you understand. If you dont know something the assessor may chose to give you onsite training if they feel they can help you that way. If not they will have to refer you for training and then a re-assessment. It is very rare that a Assessor would refer you for training tho. (normally someone who is newish to the trade and has been pushed into doing a NVQ before they are ready, they should ideally be on a apprenticeship) The general questions you will be asked will be basic questions. For instance lets saying you are installing gripper. The assessor will ask you " whats that spiky stuff and whats it used for? do you use the same spiky stuff for all subfloors? "
I firm near me wants a quite a few of there lads doing there nvq. Can you sort it out Matt if I give them ur details
