    Thanks dazlight, been fitting carpet 15 years and never seen it done like that, don't suppose you got a pic without the tape?, think I'll try and go on the floorskills carpet courses next year, done the lvt ones this year, really good

    Blimey I might have had a bash at LVT, but carpeting, and turned stairs at that *bogle* must be so hard, I'm damn sure I'd bang lumps out of the wall stringer - yeah I know I could use a deflector of some sort to protect the paintwork but I wouldn't (just once is enough) on a really noticeable bit like the last turning stair. I'll leave that stuff and those funky bend/curves (even though I've seen the secret) to you professionals.

    Tis a secret, and I can't reveal it - blindingly obvious once you know how it's done, but still damn hard to do right, and probably an expensive skill to learn if you're a bit 'bull in a china shop' like me. :mad:
