In the past I have primed the ply before laying glue down LVT, but have seen comments on here that it isn’t needed. The floor is flat and I’ll only be filling screw holes and joints.

Im about to do our kitchen and would appreciate any guidance re: priming or not.

Supplemental question, all skirtings are removed at the moment. Is it better to put the skirtings on first and lay up to them or lay first and skirtings on top..?

Skirtings on top is easier to fit.
We prime the ply if it’s not clean.

    Thanks.

The kitchen is north facing (no solar gain) and has no underfloor heating. I was planning to use F46 adhesive, is that OK or is there better? I'm laying Invictus Highland Oak Sunrise.
