I use Uzin 630 now. Great primer and fills in any holes or joints. F ball prime and fill does the same job.
These new type cement based primers are great and about time as well I can’t understand why anyone is priming ply with acrylic type primers mixed with water ? Wood and water don’t mix If anything neat and only a fine coat put on with a roller from a tray not poured directly on to the ply
....always done it, will continue to do it until it says 'on the tin' I can't do it then I wont do it. You've done it yourself spacey hence why you put the 'neat' part in your last reply. Do you spend every evening fault finding
You can’t prime most plywood’s if you mix the primer with water or the crappy veneer will bubble off. Unfortunately you get a similar issue when using feather finish. Decent ply is a must Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Theres a lot more water in your levelling compound than your primer too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
