    Hi
Looking to have a solid colour flooring fitted across whole first floor, three bedrooms and three en-suites, sub floor is new Egger protect chipboard flooring. Looking at sheet rubber, or Marmoleum solid. I need to come up 26mm in total to FFL. What is best method of making the sub floor the correct height? Also what is a good rubber floor, had samples from Colour Flooring Company and Harvey Maria, have seen Nora and Polyfloor also do rubber. Any one any experience of laying and using these. Wanted a tight butt joint as opposed to a welded joint, as trying to achieve a seamless look if possible.

    Thanks

    Andy

Nora rubber is decent but is go marmoleum Walton. Fitting it every week at moment and the grey colours look amazing

Nora very good. Colour flooring rubber is very delicate. Bring the floor up with ply and the smoothing compound

Very delicate. That's why I'd go with madmoleum. Done a load of flats in nora and literally walking on it would mark it

Hi Thanks for the replies, appreciated, Harvey Maria want £65.00 m2 for their sheet rubber, which is expensive when compared to Marmoleum sheet/roll.
The rubber samples seem really nice to walk on, much better feel than Marmoleum. I thought rubber was supposed to be hard wearing?
On the build up could I use Jackoboard, worried the plywood will be too heavy

Why would it look like a hospital? I want a seamless, warm feeling quiet floor that is easy to clean. What would you recommend?
