Screeding over ply technique

    I have a compressor and the staples are 20mm
    Which ring shank gun do you use ?

    the spotnails cn45 is the one u want mate
    Am sure mario has it on the tradeshop

    I asked them & they said they make them for RGN & let them rebrand them

    the code was the same and I seen the spot nails stand at Harrogate too to compare... identical

    that one has a minimum 22 mm, is there one that takes smaller nails

    I'm sure they take 19mm That's what Mike uses in his ?

    wonder why it states 22mm....they do the cn238 which is from 19mm.....
    mind you if it takes 19mm thats a cracking price

    that's the one I bought from there, and I've used 1000's of 19mm nails with it.

    with the coil nailer, if your loose laying vinyl , which I do a fair bit, do you still need to feather over or can you set it so its just below the surface ?
    I usually use a stapler and feather the joints

    Who told you that mate? We do a lot of work with spotnails and they are always with us doing demos. The owner was in last week also and i showed him that one and was told its a copy made with inferior parts. As its made in china etc there nothing they can do about it.

    yep had a look mate. Something dont make sense here. I have seen something very different to suggest that is not a spotnails gun and heard from the horses mouth also.

    I will forward on that conversation and see what he says to that ! will let you know tomorrow.

    What doesn't make sense is the price you can buy the RGN for if it is the same gun ?

    Would be good to have both guns & take them apart to have a look inside ?

    Regarding price, exactly, why would you sell your own gun to be rebranded and sold cheaper than you sell yourself?

    just to add,
    they do have those guns in for repair all the time for replacement parts as they are the same ISH for parts but not the same quality
