    Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a DIY project and planning to put in new dry back lvt flooring throughout our downstairs area. However, I'm a bit stuck on which brand to go for, and I could really use your opinions and experiences.

I'll be doing the installation myself (yes, the floor is prepped), so if any of the brands are known to be easier to install, that would be a huge plus for me.

We're really aiming for a natural wood feel, with an embossed texture that doesn't look too plastic-like (I was really disappointed with the Amtico Spacia tick finish). Durability is also essential since we have a household with active toddlers, dogs, and cats. Finally I would like to avoid the shrinkage and gap issues, I know it's probably mostly depending on the installation, but some material might be better than others

Here are the brands we're considering:

    1. Harvey Maria M series: Looks fantastic, but unfortunately a bit out of our budget.

    2. Brampton Chase Studio Design: Nice appearance, but I wasn't fully convinced by the texture. It felt a bit too flat.

    3. Invictus Maximus: Also looks great, but we were hoping for long planks, and this one only seems available in herringbone. Still, we might consider it if it's highly recommended.

    4. Greenflor Master Trend: Looks promising, but I've never heard of this brand before.

    5. Oneflor Workshop 55: More rustic and homogeneous, which we love. The texture seems to follow the wood grain, which is a huge plus. But, once again, it's a brand I'm not familiar with, and it looks a bit too cheap so I wonder about its quality.

Any thoughts or feedback on these brands would be immensely helpful! If you've had experience with any of them, or if you have other recommendations, I'd love to hear from you.

    Thanks you for your assistance!

For appearance and longevity M series by harvey Maria, it’s an outstanding LVT, if one costs £40 and the other costs £50, so £10 difference, for what you want and how long it will last, I would just go for it

In all honesty you’re going to save a lot of money by doing it yourself, which if it doesn’t work out you will have also wasted a lot of money.

Thanks for that. They do look quite good. But what would be the second best or is there a brand you would avoid ?

While I appreciate your financial analysis, I'm mainly interested in getting some opinions about the brands and the quality they produce. Any input on that?

Fitted some royal oak invictus in both the Herringbone and full plank that looked nice.

J2 natural timbers, the rustic textures range is a cheaper range but for a more realistic look, natural timbers range
