Hi guys just wanted opinions on being self employed rather then employed.

I'm employed at the minute but thinking of subbing but trying to decide wether to make the jump.

Who' done it with success and what are the Pro's and con's

I did mate yes, I did about 6months on my own then took a job being employed again as it was a good opportunity at the time.

    Just after everyone's opinions

Id sub its where thr money is, do price work on the new builds and if your good you can coin it in for what is usually easy work assuming site conditions are not to bad, or that' my experience anyway

If your happy with McDonald's wages working till 4.30 everyday with a tracker van then that's your life ... Or be a bigger boy. buy a transporter, some cordless Makita kit and get subbing on some price work and start paying 40% tax . Cheers
