    Hi guys,

I will be installing 1400 sq ft of Mannington Adura Max over a 45 year old 4" thick smooth concrete slab. I had assumed that I should maybe put something between the boards and the slab so I asked several flooring shops their recommendations. Some of them said to lay the boards directly onto the slab without any underlayment at all "to prevent trapped condensation", whereas some installers said put down 6mil plastic between the two surfaces. The slab has been bare for a couple of years and I have never seen any sign of moisture. I'm just wondering if there is some sort of standard practice I should follow when installing this stuff on a concrete slab. Any suggestions appreciated!

Is this a uk product? Take a moisture reading of the slab. If its below 75% rh your good to go. Or check with the lvp manufacturer what the max recommended moisture content is for installation
