Hi all , been approached to fit wetrooms on a social housing project . Not nice but considering it . Looking at uplift , prep and lay in one day ?. Approx size 5.5 sq mtrs . All materials supplied . What is the going rate on this sort of thing in 2023 ?. Price or daywork ?. Looking for an indication as its not a type of contract I normally get involved with . Cheers in advance

It sounds like you know already, how that will go.
I would never get involved in that type of contract again.
For me to even consider it, I would want £400 a day, on the understanding that if the client is not awake/available to let you in by 8.30 you abort, and still get your days money.
To be avoided at all costs unless you are very desperate.

I'd be looking at a minimum of 300,depending on how much prep ended up needing doing once you've done the uplift, like walls needing repair, floor being PISS wet through. I stopped doing them because they were always too short notice
