Hi everyone Apologies in advance for general flooring naivety, but I have some oak flooring of 8 different lengths. I’m worried about wasting lengths by cutting unnecessarily and also patterning in odd ways. If I measure the room, and each plank, is there a tool or app I can buy that would fit the combination of planks so I waste as little as possible? So I could input the area of the room, and then each plank size, and it would tell me what sizes to use in each strip to minimise cutting and wastage? Or am i, er, overthinking this? Thanks
Please don’t waste your time. They are random lengths so that your joins will be randomly spaced. What you cut off one end will be your starting board for the next row Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
