Laser through the centre and in the corners. Be be honest I’m not too bothered if the room is square. More important for me is finding the best wall or line to work from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Aslong as it's straight off a main wall then that's all you can do. I tend to pay more attention to main 'pathway' and the closest wall to it and make it work from that one. By time all furniture is in its not noticeable if it's out 10 - 20mm on the opposite side anyway, what else can you do. I've seen some work where the fitter has ran a 2 block border with parquet bang off the skirts and looks awful.
Seen that before myself. Its shocking. With tiles I always try to run a full tile from the door and have a full tile infront of the toilet. Always start in a hallway aswell so if it does run it wont show in the rooms.
You could draw lines from all corners and measure they are equal or you could use the 3ft x 4ft should equal 5ft but it’s easier to use a laser. Come on then tell us your way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
