Hey i am looking for some carpet for my house and was just wondering, I've noticed some carpets have different types of stain resistance, easy clean, staintec, stainguard etc, just wondering if there is any difference and what is the best stain resistant carpet?

Have a look at the cormar range. Most of them are decent quality.

Most stain resist carpets will be 100% manmade fibre pile, this is naturally stain resistant and the carpet may have additional product built in to help.

Manmade fibre does not have the appearance retention charactaristics of wool so won't keep appearance so well over time.

I've had some good reports on that satino royale, apparently their bounce back fibre seems to work, which surprised me considering how long and soft the pile is, i did almost a full house 31/2 years ago and according to the customer, it's showing absolutely no sign of flattening even on the stairs, although I did a stairs and landing in white on Easter Sunday,, not holding out much hope for that lol
